The Sun does not shine, and the Moon does not reflect its rays.
The cosmos “comes to life” only when a living being, through its brain, interprets electromagnetic waves as light signals.
This phenomenon of perception, which takes place entirely within an observer’s mind, is seemingly strange and perplexing.
But, , in fact, photons—which have existed since the dawn of the universe—are translated into brightness only in the mind of an observer, who sees them as shimmering or dazzling, sometimes flickering, warm, or silvery.
Our ethereal Juliet, our dazzling Venuses, the Ariels—whether diaphanous or colorful—who feed on light, remain unaware of all this and continue to shine.
And we’ll keep this a secret… right?
