Bottega Bruzziches is a living space of more than 1,700 square metres where creativity and craftsmanship meet every day, seamlessly. Opened in March 2024, the Bottega marks an important milestone on our journey: the culmination of a quest that has made the quality of every piece a non-negotiable condition. At its heart is Benedetta’s artistic vision, which takes shape in her design studio, where ideas are born and defined. Around her, the expert hands of our artisans turn these ideas into reality with meticulous care, so that every detail reflects our constant commitment to excellence.

The Bottega is hard to describe; it is far better to walk through it. You can come in to see how a bag is born, to learn to make one with your own hands, to take home something that exists only here. You can come for an exhibition, a meeting, a private sale. Or you can come for no particular reason and let this place give you one.

Every bag has a story, and here at the Bottega in Viterbo there is always someone ready to tell it to you. Your guides will be the people who designed these bags, who sewed them, who look after them every day. You can try them on, ask questions, see up close how they are made. Some things can only be felt in person: the weight, the softness, the way a bag falls on your shoulder, the posture you take on when you hold it in your hand.

But if you are far away, we will make you feel here even from there. A video call, a dedicated consultation, the same time and the same care: we will do everything we can so that distance takes nothing away from you. And then it will be true: from the artisans’ hands, to yours.

Making with your hands is a way of thinking. It teaches the patience that precision needs, the time it takes to go from an attempt to a result, the value of the hours an object carries within it. Those who learn to make by hand learn to recognise that value. And knowledge that is recognised is knowledge that lives on.

At the School of Leathercraft of Bottega Bruzziches, knowledge is passed on as it always has been: from one person to another, from the hand that knows to the hand that learns. Two days. The leather, a table, someone beside you showing you where to cut. You arrive not knowing where to begin and leave with a bag you made yourself. You take home everything else too: the spirit of the workshop, the rhythm of a day at the Bottega, the lunch Mamma Ada cooks for you just as she does for us every day.
