"I spent an entire winter wrapped in metallic mesh, trying to understand how to give it life. The form emerged slowly, as if the material itself were guiding me." Says Benedetta Bruzziches. Venus could not be designed. This mesh, so rebellious, does not bend to the cold, mechanical rhythms of industry. It demands time, attention, and the work of seamstresses who darn and sew each crystal by hand, one by one. Jean Shinoda Bolen wrote that the archetype of Aphrodite drives a woman to seek both intensity and stability in her relationships; Venus is born from there: from the moment a woman who loves and is loved transforms. Not metaphorically. Physically. She also writes that Aphrodite holds the creative process in great esteem. Getting dressed for an evening is also a creative process. Venus is the final gesture: the one you choose last that changes everything else.
