“Serenus” in Latin means clear sky, cloudless. Not happy, clear. Lucius Annaeus Seneca wrote a treatise dedicated to his friend Serenus, “De tranquillitate animi”, because Serenus was asking for help: he felt in balance, then nothing would happen and everything would shake.
