Ostrich leather: Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. The raised texture is characteristic of this leather: do not attempt to smooth it. Nourish with a specific cream. Store in the dust bag provided.
Calfskin suede: Brush gently with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid contact with water and liquids. In case of stains, use a specific suede eraser. Store in the dust bag provided.
Zamak: Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemicals or abrasive products on the galvanic finish. Avoid prolonged contact with water and humidity.

The bag will be carefully prepared for shipping inside the Benedetta Bruzziches box, protected by the microfiber pouch with logo.

Luis Buñuel knew that bourgeois women live at least two lives: the one they show and the one they keep to themselves, the afternoon hours that need not be explained to anyone. "I designed Belle de Jour thinking of Séverine," says Benedetta Bruzziches, "of how certain women don't choose between their versions of themselves. They carry them all, on the same day, with the same grace." Belle de Jour is a 1967 film in which Catherine Deneuve plays Séverine, the archetypal bourgeois wife: straight hair, carefully chosen clothes, a gaze that tells, not everything. Every afternoon, Séverine leaves her husband's house and goes to work in a brothel. Not for money. Out of necessity. For that part of herself that in an ordered life has no space and no name. Buñuel does not judge her. He films her with the same neutrality with which he films the furniture, the streets, the clothes. Séverine is interesting in exactly the way a house with two doors is.

Daytime and evening bag to wear by hand, on the shoulder or crossbody. You put it on the morning of one of those days that are just waiting to be discovered; no fixed plans, you follow the wonder of possibility. It is compact and discreet, you carry only what you need, because what you truly need doesn't fit inside a bag. The strap keeps your hands free, movement comes first. In the evening, add a blazer to your jeans: remove the strap, it becomes a clutch, the gesture changes. Belle de Jour lasts an entire day. Do you have any idea how many lives fit inside twenty-five centimetres of Italian leather?
