THE CLUB

Benedetta Bruzziches is a brand that puts people at its centre, and it is people it wants to reach. Our bags are made with the care you give to things that matter, and, as you know, care is the enemy of haste: it never sits well with large numbers. That is why the Club exists. Because when you try to speak to everyone, you end up shouting. We would rather speak softly, almost under our breath, and build connections with those who, through the noise, can pick out our sound and catch its nuances. The Club is not about exclusion, nor about exclusivity. It is a boundary, to be discovered in the most positive sense of the word: not raised to keep people out, but drawn to welcome them, as carefully as possible.

The Club is our promise to you. We ask for your time and your attention, and we take on the responsibility of making sure that time is never wasted. We will never claim we are not trying to sell you anything: our value begins with a product, and every purchase is the backbone that lets us exist. But we promise that every word will be sincere, weighed and meant for you. That every message, every invitation, will be a moment able to add something to your days.

WHAT'S THE CLUB?

The Club is not a place you pass through, but a space for intentional choice, yours and ours.

It's a genuine way to build meaningful relationships with those who choose to be fully present, where every experience is designed as a mutual, measured, sincere, and heartfelt gesture.

We've chosen to make certain moments exclusive to members, so we can take the time and space needed to express our vision of sustainable luxury: not just in words, but through actions. A luxury not defined solely by materials, but by the way we choose to exist in the world. In your world. And by the way we invite you into ours.

For us, sustainability also means this: a form of presence, of listening, of inner integrity.

It's about reconnecting with what truly matters, and reclaiming what is truly valuable.

"Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope". - Maya Angelou Our new silk satin slip-on mule, Bruna, is a tribute to the power of true love, like the one between poetess Bruna Bianco and Italian poet Giuseppe Ungaretti. Despite an age gap of 52 years, they both embraced their relationship with freedom and fascination. Bruna interprets the wideness of love with a ring-shaped element, symbolizing the infinite vastness of the universe and clearly recalling Saturn. Bruna is made of pure duchesse silk, while the crystal embellished ring-shaped element that wraps around the foot is made using a technique borrowed from jewelry making. These mules are designed to be comfortable, with a special layer of microporous material in the insole that makes walking a pleasure. Handcrafted entirely in Italy, Bruna represents a fusion of poetry, love, and innovation in the world of footwear. Our artisans are passionate about their craft, and it shows in every stitch and detail of these magical shoes.

There is an image that was never photographed: São Paulo, summer of 1966. A young woman in red at the end of a lecture. She is twenty-six, carrying a folder of poems, and something that cannot be explained. She walks toward him. He is Giuseppe Ungaretti, seventy-eight years old, and he had come to Brazil to visit the grave of his son Antonietto, who died at nine in 1939. That loss had inspired "Il dolore", the darkest collection of his life. Then Bruna Bianco arrives, Italian from the Langhe, in a red dress and a bundle of verses. "You appeared at the gate in a red dress to tell me you are fire that consumes and rekindles." The correspondence begins from the ship taking him back to Italy. Three hundred and seventy-seven letters in less than three years. She would find them on the piano every noon, returning from work, and sometimes couldn't even eat for reading them. He wrote to her: "You are the soul of my soul, the last strength I have left, my last poem, the true one, the only true one." Bruna kept them for fifty years. Published by Mondadori in 2017. "I named this shoe Bruna because I wanted a woman who walks toward," says Benedetta Bruzziches. "The gesture of bringing something of yourself toward something immense, with no guarantee of return. Bruna is for when that gesture becomes a step, and the step needs to hold."

Evening shoe. You're about to go out alone. Perhaps for the first time in a while. A dark dress ending at the knee, bare legs. You're still deciding when you look down and see the crystal ring around the foot catch the light once in the step. No one sees it except those looking in the right place. And someone is always looking in the right place.

TO DO

Think of someone you loved enough to change the way you speak. The word that entered your vocabulary because of them. The inflection you kept. Say it out loud now: you will hear them in your voice.

TO READ

Giuseppe Ungaretti, "Il Taccuino del Vecchio", 1960. The poems Ungaretti wrote for Bruna Bianco. He was seventy-eight. She was twenty-six. They are the most naked love letters in Italian poetry. Read them standing up.

TO WATCH

Ferzan Özpetek, "Facing Windows", 2003. A woman discovers that the old man she is caring for holds the memory of a love lost decades ago. Özpetek films love letters as if they were open wounds. Notice the scene with the handwriting.
