Benedetta Bruzziches is putting a selection of archival pieces up for sale to benefit the Pangea Onlus Foundation.
The initiative was inspired by an encounter, as has often happened in the designer’s history:
“In the past few months, I have had the opportunity to come into contact with a group of wonderful Afghan girls who, in spite of the difficulties and the ban on access to education for women, have decided, in a self-managed way, to continue to study, to be curious and to seek a glimmer of light to illuminate their lives.”
This touching personal experience prompted Benedetta’s commitment to give something back, both as a woman and as a brand, pushing the boundaries of her world In this endeavor, Benedetta Bruzziches shared the mission of Pangea ETS Foundation and decided to donate the proceeds from the sale of a selection of archival pieces (net of shipping costs and taxes where applied) to support the projects the Foundation has been pursuing for years promoting women’s independence and self-determination.
“I strongly believe in the alliance of women and the profound impact it can have in society. One woman alone can do a lot, but together we can do everything” says Benedetta. The sale will open on the designer and brand founder’s birthday and will be active only on this website from May 8 to June 8:
“I have personally selected ten unique archival pieces whose proceeds will be devolved to contribute, albeit in my own small way, to the change I would like to see around me, a change through which each woman has the right to reclaim her place in the world.
